Sleep

Is sleep one of those things you just can’t get enough of?

Today we’re going to talk about two easy ways to ensure a good night’s sleep. I can’t remember a time when a female patient doesn’t come into my practice saying that she wants and needs good night’s sleep. It’s an issue because of the hormones. So let’s start easy, simple, and safe. Essential oils, pure therapeutic grade essential oils are awesome. Lavender. You can mix it with lotion. Put it on your skin, your neck, breathe it in. You can put it in the diffuser. Actually, my favorite combo is lavender and vetiver.

Maybe you want to take the essential oils internally so they have a slow release. Serenity is great. It’s lavender and some safe herbs. Let’s not forget about trace minerals, and a big one is magnesium. Most people are deficient in magnesium. So magnesium, taking 100 to 200 milligrams at bedtime, like a capsule of MgZyme, it is easily absorbable, or a taking a liquid with calcium. These two things, essential oils and magnesium, are going to really help you get a good night’s sleep.
